GOD is completely in control!!!!

GOD is completely in control of everything! :-D!! Ok! That’s done!!
This morning God is showing how important this is to understand and believe it! I do pray for a deeper revelation of His Word here!
So, God is completely in control...And I believe He wants us to know that!
I don’t think it’s  the big bad devil who’s running loose foiling God’s plans!. God is Sovereign and in control of everything even the Tribulation to come!!
Before you jump down my throat, let me reassure you that I am not denying that there is the devil.. and he is roaring around like a lion, stealing and destroying and deceiving is propably what he loves doing best!..
The thoughts in my heart this morning are concerning the fact that we are in a war and that we are not fighting flesh and blood.. and the Lord is showing me that our ‘wrong’ thinking needs to be ‘renewed’ with His Word and His truth..
Remember the ‘helmet’ of salvation which part of our  spiritual ‘armour’ has to do with our ‘mind’ our thoughts..

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Ephesians 6:13-17
We need to have the understanding that we have the safety and protection built on the promises of God.. and as followers of Christ we can live in freedom and in the light.. Our hope is in this.. that we who have Christ in our heart (through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) cannot be cheated out of the hope of His promises..

We must know His Word.. and not just know a lot of  scripture!!  but understand the whole council of God.. I really believe that the lack of understanding of God’s word and His character leaves us open to attack!
Good time to look at Eve’s story!! She failed to trust/obey God and what He said.. end of story!
When we  investigate what the Bible says we quickly see that indeed our God and Father is in complete control of everything!
Lets continue our quest to getting to KNOW HIM.. :-)

“All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and He does according to His will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand or say to Him, "What have you done" (Daniel 4:35)?
God does what He wants when He wants according to His will! There is nothing that man or the devil can do that is not according to God’s will.

Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass,
When the Lord has not commanded it?
Is it not from the mouth of the Most High
      That woe and well-being proceed?
Lamentations 3:37,38
We need to remember at this point  that God is outside our ‘time’ dimension.. He has seen the beginning and the end.. We can’t surprise God! There is no coincidence with God!
Even in the Great Tribulation that is to come..God is Sovereign.. (Rev 13:7) It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. Satan is granted permission and authority to overcome the saints!!
Satan is given authority in order to test the saints just as one sifts the wheat from the chaff. (Luke 3:17) His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire”
So how do we respond in this spiritual war going on.. What do I do with this information?
I believe we are to  Always look to Jesus.. Put Him in the centre of every question in our heart, of every storm we are facing..and perhaps ponder on this question? Could it be that God is in charge and He is testing us to see if we love His Word.? (He is the Word)..Are we prepared in our heart to make the decision to completely give Him lordship of our whole being?
But  how? This is what I believe the Lord showed me this morning..
"And when (Jesus) had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward an hungered.  And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If Thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.  But (Jesus) answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:2-4)

Satan has power against pretension, against knowledge, but no power against obedience, if we are acting by the Word, with no will of our own.  With Jesus, Satan was baffled, the strong man was bound, and the way in which He bound him was by simple obedience - "It is written."
(Psalm 91:9) If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge- (10) then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. (11) For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (12) they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. (13) You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. (14) "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. (15) He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
God is in charge!!! Hallelujah!!

"And when the woman (Eve) saw
that the tree was good for food,
and that it was pleasant to the eyes,
and a tree to be desired to make one wise,
she took of the fruit thereof and did eat,
and gave also unto her husband (Adam)
with her; and he did eat." (Genesis 3:6)

Something, Nothing and Everything
Three things fallen man looks for:

The lust of the flesh - doing something
The lust of the eyes - having something
The pride of life - being something
        (Genesis 3:6, Matthew 4:1-10, Luke 4:1-13, 1 John 2:16)

But the believer is nothing, "For if a man think himself to be something , when he is nothing , he deceiveth himself."  (Galatians 6:3)

Knows nothing, "And if any man think that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. (1 Corinthians 8:2)

Can do nothing "Without Me ye can do nothing." (John 15:5)
Apart from Christ Who is everything, "Christ is all and in all."
(Colossians 3:11)

R.E.S.T. v B.U.S.Y!!

Gooday beautiful Treasures of the Most High God!!

One very important lesson I am learning in my journey on ‘how to get fit for my King’...is how to
R E S T..!!
We need to rest! Both in the physical realm and in the spiritual! Today I will just share to you my journey on the lessons I am learning on our ‘physical’ rest..
I am sure many of us are going through life feeling ‘tired’.. A few years ago I was so involved in ‘ministry’.. I was out nearly every night of the week..I thought this was how it was supposed to be.. Alpha group Monday,  choir practice Tuesday, mid week church Wednesday.. get the drift?!
I was so close to heading for a burn out.. I guess some would say I did slightly as I lost my passion for devotion time with Jesus.. I was so busy going about the ‘business’ of the King that I didn’t have time for the King!! to be intimate with Him..
To cut a long story short, the Lord helped me to see that all that mattered was that I did the things He called me to do.. I could write pages on this!! Our example is Jesus.. He only did what He saw the Father doing.. He was never in a rush!  And we need to remember that  our enemy,  the devil, if he can’t make us bad his next  trick is to make us busy!
I saw a this acronym once for BUSY.. Being Under Satan’s Yoke...
Then answered Jesus and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever he does, these also does the Son likewise. John 5:19

I began to see that when we are ‘caught’ up in things we are not called to be involved in, we have no time for the things we are ‘called’ to be in!! It’s really dangerous because the Lord God , our King has ordained our days on earth to accomplish His Will and He needs us to have that level of intimacy with Him to discern His will and hear His voice in our everyday life..
Let me quickly talk about ‘worship’..  This is something I am so working on...

One could say that ultimately the reason we exist is to bring glory to God and to worship Him and for Him to show His goodness..  We must make time to worship God..!!  I know a lot has been said about worship that everything can be a form of worship and true that may be, but here I am talking about the worship that is intimate, that is still, that it’s just you and Him and nothing else exists!! A time where we are prostrating, we are adoring Him and we are Exalting Him.. He is worthy! Worship is an active verb. And I believe is is a very private affair.. Public worship is actually an oxymoron! We can worship with others but it is so personal!

So when we are ‘busy’, too busy to spend time at His feet, to me it feels like we are missing the most important moments of our life! Moments that would take our breath away!!
Jesus says ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest..” Mathew 11:28

Dear God,
We are tired of being tired!! We give You permission to convict us of the things we are doing that drain us and don’t bring  glory to You.. Please give us wisdom and guide us when to say Yes and why you want us to commit to something and the strength to say NO when we need rest..
In Jesus Name! Amen!

Last night I visited the enemies camp!!

The devil does not have to destroy us to win.
All he has to do is steal our worth by teaching us lies about ourselves,
and then he has won..

Do you every feel like this?
How many times I pray this to my Lord.. Lord, I struggle to believe You are truly here with me.  Even though You have proved Your presence over and over again..
I still allow my heart to doubt.  So here I am again, requesting that You will become more real to me than ever before.  Please come comfort me once again that I may find my faith in You alone again.  Thank You for Your never ending patience with Your Princess..
Jeremiah  29:13-14 The Message - "When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." God's Decree. "I'll turn things around for you. I'll bring you back from all the countries into which I drove you"—God's Decree—"bring you home to the place from which I sent you off into exile. You can count on it.
What if this is how Jesus replied -
I have covered you with My blood.  I loved you with My life.  I don’t see you the way you see yourself.  That is why I paid the ultimate price for any and all things that you have ever done.  You are My spotless and pure Bride.  Should you refuse to receive My forgiveness, My love, you are saying My death on the cross was not enough for you.. When you ask forgiveness I cast your sin in the sea of forgetfulness and remember it no more.  Now is the time for you to celebrate your new life in Me!
And what if our response was:
Dear Lord, You have given Your life for my mistakes, and all You require in return is that I receive Your gift of a new day and a new life.. It is so hard to believe that all I have ever done wrong is lost in Your sea of forgetfulness.. May I walk the rest of my days as Your forgiven Princess.
I ask You on this day to order my steps.. Don’t let me miss what You have for me to do today.. Please forgive me for all the days I was so consumed with me that I forgot about Your plan.  I am ready and willing to walk with You today and be Your light to this dark world..
And what if this was His reply:
You are so beautiful to Me.. I wish for one moment that you could see what I see when I look at you.  When I gaze at you, I see a treasure ready to be discovered, a princess ready to shine, and a bride ready to be loved.. When I look at you... I love what I see! If you could only grasp how beautiful you are in My eyes, then you would never feel insecure again.. The beauty I created you to be is a reflection of Me, My love.  I created you in My image, so never doubt again that your eternal beauty is a breath of heaven!!.

Forget the former things! All have sinned and fallen short of My glory! If you’ve confessed your sins, I’ve forgiven them, so move on! I gave My life so you could be free from your past and live a new life in Me.  Forgive those who have hurt you, and most important, forgive yourself.  There is no wrong great enough to keep Me from redeeming you.. Read My Word, My love, All My chosen ones have made mistakes and have gone through trials.  I was with them, and I am with you today.. I am ready to do a new thing in you, so trust Me to work out the things that have gone wrong in the past.  It’s time for you to move forward and do what I sent you here to do....

Dearest precious sisters and brothers of the Most High...
Don’t let your past torment you... let it teach you.. Leave the past where it belongs... at the cross...Open our eyes that we  would see You in a way like never before.. Take our  tears and turn them into passion to do something to touch someone’s life for You.. Take all the pain that has  burrowed its way into our soul, and pour Your love over us  and heal whatever is broken.. Restore to us  whatever has been stolen from  us  by the enemy and may we finish strong and leave a legacy with our  life.. Let all of the above come into Your full purpose for  our  life..

In the Mighty Name of Yeshua! Jesus Christ! The Son of the Living God!

His reflection is more beautiful than we could ever make ourselves!

THE SECRET OF CHANGED LIFE IS AN EXCHANGED LIFE!!

·         My friend Deb wrote this today.. and it ministered to my heart.
·
·          “The more I grow in Christ ...the more I realize that frustration has nothing to do with the churches we belong to, the husbands/wives we have...the kids we have been blessed with, or our jobs ............true frustration is about our heart ....and being and doing exactly what you are called to do and be ........you see often we try to squeeze in to the right mould .......when in fact its only what we think is the right mould ......but often its not the mould for us ....so we wrestle and struggle like the ugly sisters when the prince came around with the shoe ....desperate to make it fit ...when all along it belonged to some one else ..............if we find our selves frustrated ....lets pause and seek our hearts bless you all xxxx
·
As I paused and thought about what she wrote,  my heart was stirred up and I remember something I had been forgetting lately..so let me share!
THE SECRET OF CHANGED LIFE IS AN EXCHANGED LIFE...
Paul had this! In Philippians he writes 1:21... “For to me to live is Christ...”
He had experienced this exchanged life when he encountered the Lord...
John as well became a Christlike man because he had found the secret also! Christ was living in John in such a wonderful way that men would see only Christ and not the turbulent angry John... (Remember before Christ he was known as the ‘sons of thunder’ which means the sons of ‘rage’)
This is one of the basic truths of Christian faith; God is offering all that I need in every area of Christian experience... Not only is God giving that which makes me a Christian, he is also giving moment by moment and hour by hour, that which enables me to live the Christian life.  I pray we will not be ignorant of this fact... As God’s desire is for His truth to set us free...

The truth when we first become a Christian, Jesus comes and lives in my heart in the person of the Holy Spirit... real Christianity is really Christ in you-ity... is the conscious sense of the presence of Christ that makes the real Christian life a thrilling and glorious adventure!

Now, when I see this added truth, that God’s wonderful love caused Him to send the risen Christ into my heart so that I might live through Him, a whole new conception of living is possible for me...
I don’t have to struggle to behave like a saint, to put on an act and reach a high enough standard! God doesn’t expect me to “imitate Christ” or to “live for Christ!” Jesus said in John 3:6 “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.”
So many of us struggle to make the flesh perform the works of the Spirit... the thing is impossible! God expects nothing of ‘me’ but failure because all I am is the flesh...
This thought can be a tremendous relief to some poor soul who is struggling so hard to live for Jesus – you never can! You never will!! All you can do is fail and experience the sorrow that Paul had...”For that which I do I allow not; for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I..............For the good that I would I do not; but the evil which I would not, that I do”.. Romans 7:15,19..
God want s me to avail myself of His full salvation – not only the  ‘the act of Christ’ (Justification) when He died for me on the cross of Calvary, but also the “activity of Christ” (Sanctification) as He lives in my heart through His Holy Spirit ..
God’s salvation is not a place, or an experience, but a PERSON – His Son. Salvation is not a crisis which begins and ends at the cross; it is both a crisis which begins at the cross and a process which continues day by day as I recognize Christ dwelling in my heart...
This I believe is the secret of behaving like a saint not my putting on a tremendous performance of imitating Christ, but my recognizing that Gods salvation begins at the cross and that it continues throughout my life... “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue “2 Peter 1:3
ALL THINGS... I need for life and godliness...God has already given me all the things... not some, all that I need... in other words, if I want to behave like a saint I have all that it takes, not in my own resources or from my own worked up enthusiasm but as a gift from God. From the Agape of God... God has given me all things......... for living before men and for living before God.
Thank You Heavenly Father, for so great a salvation.. Thank you for the Lord Jesus who died on the cross so that my sins might be forgiven.  Thank You also that the same Lord Jesus lives in my heart and life in the person of His Holy Spirit.  Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You live in my heart.. Thank You because You are my peace.. You are my joy, You are my strength, You are all that I can ever need or want. You have promised never to leave me or forsake me – I believe this.  Thank You for Your promises that never fail..
Blessings J

My KING!

I have been meditating on the book Psalms lately.. I have learned much especially that a lifetime is not enough to exhaust the gems contained  in these precious Words!!
Today I just want to share this with you from Psalm 135 v 5-7

5 For I know that the LORD is great,
And our Lord is above all gods.
6 Whatever the LORD pleases He does,
         In heaven and in earth,
In the seas and in all deep places.
 7 He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth;
         He makes lightning for the rain;
He brings the wind out of His treasuries.

I spend 15 years looking for ‘the truth’..I was really hungry for answers to my questions of ‘why am I here ?’, who is God?’ and ‘where can I find Him?’

There questions led me into searching in all sort of places! Including the study of  other religions and I travelled  to their countries and temples in the hope to encounter the one true God..

I can honestly say to you reading this, I found all this search led me to more emptiness and confusion than the day before!

I don’t want to make this a long note, but basically the ‘gods’ I encountered can do nothing! and they did nothing for me! I was the same day in and day out!! Only the one true God has the power to transform our life fromt he inside out!

Our God, YHWH, the God of the Holy Bible, can do anything!! And I have witnessed this over and over again! He can do anything He wants to. Our God is a living God.. He is not a statue! Our God rose from the dead.. I didn’t find any other God that did that!!
Like this Psalm says, It is God who makes the weather. He runs the universe as it pleases Him. God does not have to answer our questions. He asks us to trust Him and live a life of faith .......
The psalmist then compares the living God with idols…“The great Ra whose shrines once covered acres, is now filler for crossword puzzles.”. One doesn’t have to take a course in comparative religions to know the name of YHWH!

Love Mary J

I wish I could describe Him to you
He’s indescribable
He’s indescribable
He’s incomprehensible
He’s invincible
He’s irresistible
I’m trying to tell you
The heaven of heavens cannot contain Him
Let alone a man explain Him
You can’t get Him out of your mind
You can’t get Him off of your hands
You can’t outlive Him
And you can’t live without Him
The Pharisees couldn’t stand Him
but they found out they couldn’t stop Him

Death couldn’t handle Him
And the grave couldn’t hold Him
That’s my King!

Praise the Lord
That’s my King
Thine is the Kingdom
And the power
And the glory
The glory is all His
Thine is the Kingdom
And the power
And the glory
For ever
And ever
And ever
And when you get through with all of the forevers
Then
Amen

the Little Things..

The 'L I T T L E '

Things .

As you might know, the head of a company survived

9/11 because his son started
kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was

His turn to bring
donuts.

One woman was late because her

Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike

Because of an auto accident.

One of them

Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take

Time to change.

One's

Car wouldn't start.

One went back to

Answer the telephone
.

One had a child that dawdled

And didn't get ready as soon as he should have.

One couldn't

Get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man

Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
a blister on his foot.

He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.

That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am

Stuck in traffic
,
Miss an elevator,

Turn back to answer a ringing telephone
...
All the little things that annoy me.

I think to myself,

This is exactly where

God wants me to be
at this very moment...

Next time your morning seems to be

Going wrong
,

The children are slow getting dressed,

You can't seem to find the car keys,

You hit every traffic light,

Don't get mad or frustrated;

God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you

With all those annoying little things

And may you remember their possible purpose xxxx
