AMAZING WOMAN and VERY BRAVE

Irena Sendler
A year or so ago there was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior motive' ... She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews, (being German.) Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids..) She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.. During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family. Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted.
Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize ... She was not selected.
          Al Gore won, for a slide show on Global Warming.

        Powerful message, especially the "cartoon."  Let us never forget!

Please read the little cartoon carefully, it's powerful. Then read the comments
at the end.

In Memoriam

It is now more  than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe  ended This e-mail is  being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the  six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10  million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests  who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned,  starved and humiliated with the German and Russian Peoples looking the other  way!

Now, more than ever, with Iraq , Iran , and others, claiming the
 Holocaust to  be 'a myth,' it's imperative to make sure the  world never forgets, because there are others who would like to do it again.

Please do your small part and share this!

Whoops! “Make haste”: the delay has already been too long!!! (ESTHER)

Hi friends!

I took my troubled heart for a walk this morning and returned filled with awe and faith in our amazing SOVEREIGN God!!

On my heart was a site I opened last night regarding Israel and her enemies..
As I started to talk to the Lord about it, He reminded me of an excellent story!

Queen Esther!

As I read through the chapters today it brought such encouragement and hope in my heart..

We all know that Haman’s plan was to exterminate the Jews!

 (All anti-Semitism stems from Satan’s schemes to thwart the plan of God.)

The proud Agagite was but a mere puppet in the hands of Satan, who
sought to make void the promises of God: that from David’s house
should arise the One who was to bruise his head; the One who was to
“destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver
them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage”
(Heb 2:14-15).

The entire Bible can be mapped as a drama in which Satan’s stratagems
are repeatedly foiled:
• the death of Abel at Cain’s hand;
• the corruption of Adam’s line in Genesis 6;
• the attacks on Abraham’s seed... in Genesis 12, 20, 50;
• The destruction of the babes by Pharaoh;
• Pharaoh’s pursuit through the Red Sea;
• the populating of Canaan in anticipation of Abraham’s promised
inheritance (a denial which the world continues to this day).

As God declared that He would be accomplish His program through the
house of David, the intrigues continued against David’s line:
• with Saul’s javelin at youthful David;
• when Jehoram kills his brothers (2 Chr 21);
• when the Arabians kill all (but Ahazariah);
• when Athaliah kills all (but Joash);
• when Hezekiah is assaulted; etc.

However, God cannot be thwarted (Job 42:2). God can always overturn
man’s diabolical efforts, sometimes by miraculous acts, and sometimes
through seeming acts of “coincidence” as in the forthcoming drama…
God is always working on behalf of His people. In Esther He is hidden
behind the scenes (and His Name has been discovered hidden behind the text!)

Anyway, with His promotion as Grand Vizier, it was looking good! (You could substitute many names for him: Pharaoh, Hitler, Arafat, Ahmadinejad…) and he had the power  to see this EVIL plan through! (if God allowed it,  that is!)

Using false accusations (that reminds me of someone!!) that  ‘all Jews refused to obey the King’s laws’.. the King gave Haman the ok for his EVIL plan to destroy them..(the King not knowing  that it was the Jewish people, including his queen wife that he was giving the thumbs up to!).. Got to be careful what you sign, ey!

I guess what Haman didn’t know at the time was Esther’s courage, Mordecai’s   faith..and God’s invisible and MIGHTY HAND  in His creation!!

In his grief and distress,  Mordecai  sends the message to Esther.. to make supplication to him (the King) and plead before him for her people..”

Now  we need to  understand that going before the King uninvited meant that she could of lost her life.. The law was “put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden sceptre, that he may live”

Well Mordecai’s response to Esther was “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. Esther 4:13..   For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

For such a time as this! I love that!

Esther’s  reply to Mordecai:  “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day.
My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”

Oh wow  Esther!! What a stance!! Wow!

Food for thought..
It was Esther’s interceding at the throne that saved the people of Israel
from slaughter.

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold
their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not
silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem
a praise in the earth. Isaiah 62:6–7

Esther survives the approach to the King.. the King is curious as to what she wants that would cause her to risk her life..

All she wants at this stage is a dinner with him and Haman!!
Haman is beside himself!! He runs off can’t stop boasting about the honour bestowed upon him  of dining with the Queen!! This was not a common thing!
His joy lasted  until he saw Mordecai at the gate, refusing to bow as usual!! So he is all stirred up with anger again!

So after dinner the King enquires again of Esther, what do you want? I’ll give half my kingdom!! And Esther’s response was, another dinner with you and Haman and then I will tell you!

His curiosity continues to ripen . . .

Well, but  Haman is beside himself again!!

Now let’s rewind.. We don’t know why Esther gave the 24 hour delay.. (This turns out to be a critical delaying interval…) and I won’t read into now, but I do know that the King was sleepless that night.. so he called for some boring history notes to put him to sleep..
Of all the texts that could have been selected by the librarian, from
the records of Xerxes’ 12 years of rule up to that time, the one that
contained the account of Mordecai’s uncovering the assassination plot
(about five years before; cf. Est 2:16 with 3:7) was read to the king;
Est 2:21-23. What a coincidence! Umm.. no.. that’s not a  kosher word remember!!

GODicidence!!! Our Mighty God was working undercover, behind the scenes!

And when the king  was made aware that nothing was made to honour Mordecai well he freaked out!! Couldn’t wait till dawn to fix the problem!

Well in the meantime, Haman was being set up by the real ruler of the universe.. He gets the bellows ready to murder Mordecai and runs off to tell the king!! (*50 cubits high! what was he thinking!)
Feeling pretty good by now he was!!

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Proverbs 16:18

Selah Moment
Don’t we share in the larger, bolder, blacker portrait of Haman? Aren’t
we also prone to share the perverse nature of Haman? Is there a larger
application lurking behind this masterful tale (cf. Jer 17:9, 10; Mt 15:19)?
No amount of education, culture, or religiousness will eradicate evil. It
is in the nature of man. Only the new birth!

To be continued...........:-)

The Grand Apostasy

The Grand Apostasy

”And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12)
The Grand Apostasy referred to is the seventh seal, which ceases abruptly at the onset of the seventh trumpet. The Grand Apostasy cannot be overthrown without the Second Coming of Jesus Christ as foretold in the book of Revelation. Man cannot end the apostasy, because that is not part of God’s revealed plan. The spiritual blindness that undergirds the Grand Apostasy will afflict all of man’s religions, including atheism and secular humanism. The multiplicity of the 29,000 or so religions today will support the Grand Apostasy when it arrives.

Are the End Times Near?

At first glance, it is difficult to imagine how the Western world can become any more apostate that it already is:
  • In September 2005, the Catholic Archbishop Washington, D.C., Theodore Cardinal McCarrick, prayed publically to ”Allah, the compassionate and merciful Lord of all the world," to help make the King of Jordan and his people "a bridge across which all nations might walk in unity, fellowship and peace." He closed his prayer, “May Allah ... guide and protect you, your family, and your beloved country.... In the name of Allah, the merciful and compassionate God, we pray. Amen.”
  • Pope John Paul II publically kissed the Koran.
  • Mainline protestant denominations not only deny that homosexuality is a sexual sin, many also ordain gay clergy and perform homosexual marriages. The White House even decreed a Gay, Lesbian, Transgender (and Others) Tribute Month.
  • In a Lambeth Conference in England, Anglican bishops voted narrowly to affirm the deity of Jesus Christ.
  • The United Church of Christ set up a $500,000 scholarship fund for gay and lesbian seminarians Friday and urged wider acceptance of homosexuals by other denominations.
  • Josh Reich stated, "Some of the values of the emerging church are an emphasis on emotions, global outlook, a rise in the use of arts, and a rise in mysticism and spirituality."
  • We can see many secularly-powerful and rich pseudo-Christian religions today such as the LDS, JWs, Scientologists, Christian Scientists and so many others not as powerful which have completely fallen away from the Gospel and the Holy Bible into their own apostate pseudo-faiths.
  • Christian based Bible publishers are offering gender-neutral Bibles. Many also publish all kinds of pseudo-Christian, word of faith (prosperity) thinking, New Age and other heretical books under the guise of spirituality.
Sigh!
Talk about "strong delusion"! I started to do a reasonably thorough list of apostasy in recent times; alas there are simply too many examples of apostasy to even contemplate categorizing them in anything less than a PhD thesis.

Where are the Lord’s Prophets calling out to Christians to return to the days of faith in God and country? Where is the modern Jeremiah crying out, "Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls…." (Jeremiah 6:16)

But the Israelites answered, We will not walk therein.” (Jeremiah 6:16)
And the Lord also said, “Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet.” (Jeremiah 6:17)
“But they said, We will not hearken.” (Jeremiah 6:17)
”Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush:” (Jeremiah 6:16)
Thanks heaps, Jeremiah, for your depressing lamentation on people today.!!!
If we were to find out that today was the “Grand Apostasy” (disregarding any other implications of the Scriptures), would any of us really be surprised? It is certainly a time of great apostasy, even if not the grand one. Seldom does a day go by without yet more attacks on Christ and Christianity on Page 1 or headlining television news. For example:
  • The US President’s father and stepfather were both Muslims. He practiced Islam in Indonesia with his step-father as a youth, albeit possibly irregularly, but has claimed that he was never a Muslim. He now self-declares that he is a Christian, but has been unable in interviews to clearly state any Christian beliefs; indeed, his every action is antithetical to Christian beliefs (e.g., abortion, partial birth abortion, embryo harvesting, etc.). Oh, he’s in the news for proposing a US loan of $100 billion to the IMF, spending even more money that the USA doesn’t have.
  • Don’t mention the pressure that the USA is trying to exert on Israel to act in other than Israel’s best interests. Oh yes, and Saudi Arabia is telling the Israeli’s that they’ll have a free pass through Saudi Arabia is they want to nuke Iran. Say what???
  • The really big news, of course, is the release of Dan Brown’s sequel to the Da Vinci Code with an initial run of 5,000,000 copies.
  • Let’s not forget that Miss California possibly lost out on becoming Miss America because she stood up for traditional marriage under questioning by a homosexual blogger who was judging.
  • Now the USA is joining Cuba and Venezuela in ganging up on poor little Honduras because they deposed someone who wanted to follow Castro and Chavez as another “President for Life”. Whoever woulda’ thunk it?
Can things get any more unreal?
Alas, the answer is, “Yes we can”.
The prophet Joel stated concerning the last days, "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit." (Joel 2:28, 29)
Come, Lord Jesus, come!
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” (Joel 2:32)
Thank You, Lord God, for Your promises!

Don't be afraid.. Just believe...

Hi everyone!!
I woke up this morning with this thought in my heart..
What makes our Lord and King really happy? What pleases Him?
And the answer I believe  is that we trust Him.. believe Him..with all our heart, mind and soul.. Yes, loving Him this way..

‘Without faith it is impossible to please God’..
We can trust our Prince with our every deep, dark secret and our every concern.. (2Tim1:12)
Today I am again in faith giving myself to Him.. I urge you all, Let’s give ourselves to Him.. It is the greatest gift of all.. an intimate relationship with the One who gave His all for us...
What if His love letter to you today went a bit like this...

My Princess, my child..
Don’t be afraid to be your real self with Me..  I know everything about you already.  I know your innermost being...
My love, I know how many hairs are on your head. I know when you lie down and when you are awake... (Ps 139)
I am your Prince, and I gave up My life so that you might have complete access to the throne room of heaven.  (Heb.10:19-22)
It breaks My heart to see you in need and not coming to Me. I can and will meet your every need if you will allow Me into your life.  (Phil 4:19)
I promise to always be your safe place and your Prince of Peace..(Rom8:38)
So come to Me now in truth.. There is nothing you can tell Me that will change the way I fell about you.. I love when you come to Me and share your feelings, your fallings, and your fears.   (Heb 13:5) (
I can more fully reveal My power to you when you come to Me in complete honesty.  I also want you to know how passionately I love you, but I will not ever force your honesty. So I wait patiently until you are ready.. (Heb 13:5)

Love, your Prince, who is everything you are searching for...

Be blessed my friends!!
Agape,
Mary J

"Without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is God, and a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).

Hebrews 3:19 ..So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief..
Hebrews 3:12 “See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.”
Ps 139...
Heb 10:19-22..Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Ephesians 3:20-21. Now to him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, forever. Amen.
Philippians 4:19 - But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Heb 13:5)
Romans 8:38-39  “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Amen!!!
HALLELUJAH!! HE IS RISEN!!

It's all About Love xo :-)

It's All About Love
"He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him."
1John 2:9-10
Are you interested in your spiritual growth? Are you wanting to get closer to the Lord? Are you praying for understanding of what His plans are for your life? Are you seeking to be used by Him? There is a key that unlocks those doors. You already know what that key is, but you may not know how to use it.

THE KEY IS LOVE!

Love is the basis for all things. Love is why God created this earth for man. Love is why Jesus came. Love is why you exist. It is ALL about love! Love is the centre of all things! Love, love, love. (There, did I say it enough??)

God cannot use you if you do not have love. You cannot effectively minister to anyone unless you love them. Take a look at what Jesus said in Mark 12:30-31:

"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."

Paul said in Romans 13:8-9, "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Paul again tells us about the same thing in Galatians 5:13-14, "For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

If you have love then everything else falls into place. Once your heart and mind is filled with love then God begins to move in and through your life. God placed each of us here for a reason. He has a plan for our lives. The only thing He really wants from us it for us to love Him. That is what Jesus said when He told us about the two most important commandments in Mark (shown above).

He wants us to all love Him. Then, He wants us to love each other. If we all loved each other as God would have us love, then this world would be a wonderful place. We would each be using the gifts God gave us to benefit each other. We would the body that God wants us to be. Each part of that body would be doing the thing it was designed to do. You would be continuously lifted up, encouraged, blessed, healed, strengthened, and loved by other members of the body. Are you understanding what I am saying?

If we abide in the light there is no occasion of stumbling in us. If we abide in the light then we have God's love and His Word in our hearts and minds. That's the key that unlocks every door that you have trouble opening! Love, love, love!

The tricky part is how to love other people. There are an awful lot of unlovable people in this world! Well, God doesn't expect us to love someone just because they deserve to be loved. It is no different than Jesus sacrificing Himself for us. We didn't deserve that, but He did it anyway.

The first step would be to acknowledge that we are supposed to love everyone. Then we need to make the choice to do it!! Not just once in the morning but it’s a moment by moment choice!! We can ask God by faith to fill us with His love.. His Agape love..This supernatural love is in our hearts when we received His Holy Spirit in our hearts where He dwells!! Our feelings may not line up straight away but choosing by faith to obey God and love each other we will soon have His love overflowing out of us and into a world that needs His love so much!!!

Here are a few more scriptures on love. There are many many more scriptures about love. As a matter of fact, the entire Bible is nothing more than a love story!

Ephesians 5:2, "And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour."

1John 4:11, "Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another."

Luke 6:32, "For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them."

Ephesians 4:1-2, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love."

Ephesians 4:16, "From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love."

Also go read the entire book of 1John. I have given it the title, "All About Love."
