"As He is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17)
Dear princesses!
Dear princesses!
My hubby had a vision last night.. part of it was a picture of us raising our hands toward God in worship.. he saw that there was these vultures in the sky and they kept ‘pooping’ on us.. so we were running for cover and to get cleaned up.. we were getting distracted from our purpose..then he saw the words ‘the accuser of the brethren’ in the sky.. Of course! That makes sense! Before I continue let me put you at rest that Jesus light came through and dispersed the accusing spirit, which is none other than the enemy of God and our soul! God is still in control and always will be..
I have been praying this morning for God to change my thinking.. I want to be lined up with His Mind and His Word rather than be influenced by my past experience and wrong belief systems..
So, ‘what if’ again!!
What if we began seeing ourselves and others through His eyes.. What if we dared to believe that to Him we are just beautiful! What if His wish was for a moment we could see what He sees when He looks at us.. When He looks at us He sees a treasure ready to be discovered, a princess ready to shine and bride ready to be loved.. When He looks at us He loves what’s He sees!! If we could just grasp how beautiful we are in His eyes, then we would never feel insecure again.. The beauty He created in us is a reflection of HIM, His love.. He created us in HIS image.. Can we just for a moment dare to not doubt again that our eternal beauty is a breath of heaven!
‘For your royal husband delights in your beauty; honour Him, for He is your Lord: Psalm 45:11
So let us remember that as believers we are united to Christ..we are complete as to our standing before God.. We cannot lose this perfect standing.. It is impossible for us to be our of this condition of perfect favour in which we have been set by God’s free grace in union with a crucified, risen and glorified Head..
We may lose the sense of it, the comfort of it, the power of it; but the thing itself we cannot lose.
"Ye are complete in Him." (Colossians 2:10)
It is our unalterable standing in Christ. Clouds may overcast the sun and hide from our view his genial beams; but the sun shines all the while with undiminished luster. The believer is accepted, once and forever, in Christ. He is united to Him by a link that can never be severed.
It is not until we believe that we enter into this blessed position. The foundation of it all was laid in the death and resurrection of Christ; but it is only when we, by the power of the Holy Spirit, receive into our hearts the precious truth of the gospel that we enter into the enjoyment of it. "In whom also, after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise." (Ephesians 1:13)
“God, change my thinking to be in line with Your Word”
"Accepted in the beloved." (Ephesians 1:6)
Love Mary J xxx
