broken pieces

Some days are just easier than others! We all have those days where are heart feels like it’s broken into pieces. We feel so alone and that there’s no one to help, to stand with us in the battle we face.

It may even feel too difficult to find the strength to utter words of prayer or praise.

Of course the truth for us believers  is we are not alone. The Word of God declares that. But our feelings are not lining up to what we know to be true.

God knows everything going on in our heart. He knows how we feel and the pain we are going through.

He sees everything that transpires. He knows how and why we feel wounded.

Because He knows all about us and how we got to be in this state, He also knows how to heal us. How to deliv

(I was thinking today, could this period of waiting for the alignment of our feelings to what we know is real be an opportunity to show God that we trust Him? This would such a beautiful way to minister to Him.)



He promises to never leave us or abandon us, and He hasn't, ever. Although it may seem like it we need to remember it’s not the truth and that the enemy of our soul is trying to make us feel like that.

I encourage us today to look through those lies and to stay strong in the power and might of Lord of Lords and King of Kings. We are strong IN Christ, the hope of glory, Who lives in us!
